I2.02 Supply Chain Planning for Optimized Demand Fulfillment

Sponsor: Polimeros Opticos
Student Team: Karla Romano, Xaritzy Romano, Abdulrahman Jundi, Rogelio Berlanga
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Gerardo Trevino-Garza
This project develops a data-driven supply chain model integrating supplier selection and logistics to minimize costs and maximize profitability. It optimizes resource allocation while assessing demand variations and disruptions. The model provides insights and recommendations to enhance resilience and performance in dynamic markets.
I2.03 Net-Zero Infrastructure Planning for Electric Aircraft

Sponsor: EPRI / Ingram School of Engineering
Student Team: Javier Guerrero, Alejandra Guardiola, Lauren Cravy
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Gerardo Trevino-Garza
To provide battery charging solutions for prompting environmental sustainable travel and reducing the carbon emissions associated with air transportation, beginning with the adoption of electric aircraft in small to medium size airports. Electric aviation introduces a cleaner and more sustainable alternative to reduce environmental impacts of current air travel. The team’s objective is to propose a planning solution for the establishment of a Net-Zero Charging Infrastructure for EA (Electric Aircrafts).
