[Ongoing] Per-Course and Adjunct Faculty

Purpose

This form is for submission of application and supporting material for temporary ("adjunct") faculty to teach courses in Engineering.

Temporary faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester.  Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis.  Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and department/school need.

Degree Requirements

Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a master's degree (MS) with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required.

Special Instructions

The School of Engineering will accept applications from qualified applicants on a continual basis, as part of the College of Science and Engineering's "Pool Faculty" recruitment process.
